My knitting journey began at the age of six, taught by my grandmother. Early on, I developed a passion for entrepreneurship, dreaming of one day starting my own business.

To turn this dream into reality, I trained as a fashion designer and earned a double Master's Degree in Economics and Management within the creative industries.

In 2023, I founded my company, "Irene Nielsen," with a mission to offer high-quality knitting patterns that embody beautiful, simple, and feminine designs.

Every pattern I create is carefully crafted, tech edited in the US, and tested by numerous knitters worldwide to ensure clarity and perfection.

Beyond my professional achievements, I actively contribute to the knitting community, sharing my expertise through workshops, public presentations, and on various online platforms and social media.
